The ROG Matrix GeForce RTXTM 5090 — ASUS Graphics Cards 30th Anniversary Edition, an all-new graphics card that honors a three-decade legacy of ASUS designs while carving out new territory of its own, was announced today at Gamescom by ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG). While the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 is unique, it shares some design features with the ASUS EN9800GT Matrix. The hybrid copper-aluminum heatsink of this card starts the design language with its metallic sheen. Metallic accents and the shroud’s exterior frame complete the look. Clean, straightforward surfaces on the card’s backplate ensure that the copper elements draw the spotlight. A circular frame surrounds the two stacked fans at the card’s end, breaking the plane of the GPU shroud for an unmistakable silhouette, juxtaposing the card’s neat, rectangular geometry. Additionally, a multidimensional translucent panel adorns this design’s rounded surface.
